Can you point me to the part of this opinion piece that conveys sneering? I read it three times and I couldn't find any indication of sneering. I may be reading a redacted version of the piece, but I couldn't find Amy Roost's pitch letter anywhere either. If you wouldn't mind sharing the version that contains Roost's preface indicating she intentionally submitted her pitch to a WOC publication only, I would really appreciate it. Maybe I'm a bit daft, but how is a freelance writer capable of back-of-the-busing anyone when she's not in any position to do so? Westervelt is a hero? For what? Pointing and shrieking, "Counterrevolutionary! Stone her to death in the public square!"
