Holy crap. I just watched this movie, like maybe 2 weeks ago. I thought it was so good, I told my dad to watch it. He’s a retired professor of finance. He thought it was so good, he said it should be mandatory course material for MBA programs. To me, the most powerful line comes after Irons’ speech. Kevin Spacey agrees to stay on board, not because of Tudd’s speech, he says, but because he needs the money. He looks utterly defeated. Tudd says something like, don’t look so sad, once the dust settles, there will be a lot of money to be made.

The whole Milton Freedman, rapacious, capitalist system attracts and rewards sociopaths. Margin Call nails it. It would have worked just as well as a stage play.

Photography, you have always been a jealous bride. I will always love you — I’m just no longer in love.
