I don’t have any kids. I never wanted them and always instinctively knew that I would have been a lousy parent. I don’t like other people’s kids. I do not find babies cute. Toddlers make me anxious. I’m well past my reproductive years, but when I was younger, I did feel judged by people who had children, as if I somehow couldn’t be considered a full-fledged adult, even though I paid my bills on time, never bounced a check, voted in every presidential election, didn’t kill my houseplants, loved and cared for my pets and otherwise, adulted. But! I digress. I mainly just wanted to congratulate you on your writing. As the saying goes, write about what you know and you do so with honesty and humor. I love a good read and will continue to follow your writing.
