I meant that the Nazis were the architects of the genocide known as the Holocaust. The term genocide was coined by Raphael Lamkin in 1944 to describe the systematic destruction of a group of people. Genocide is considered a crime against humanity by the international court of the UN and its perpetrators, according to international law can be tried, held accountable, and punished for their crimes as a consequence. This is not to deny or diminish previous acts of genocide. The Germans actually cut their teeth in Namibia - the first genocide of the 20th Century.

But I did find your two-sentence response interesting as far as what you chose to react to while ignoring everything else I said. You clearly gave it a lot of thought and consideration. It's refreshing that you are so open to dialogue and show such a willingness to being challenged on some of your assumptions, instead of merely opining to your audience.

Photography, you have always been a jealous bride. I will always love you — I’m just no longer in love.
