I remember walking around my DC neighborhood of Adams Morgan on 9/11 with a friend of mine. We were in that collective stunned numb early phase. At one point, I turned to her and said, "Just watch and see how this country is going to change." I've always thought of the GWB administration and the War on Terror as our point of no return.
