Missed the point again there, sport. There are humans who I love and adore. I’m grateful every day that I have them in my life. They’re kind, compassionate, grounded individuals who can smell bullshit from a mile away. No nonsense, loyal types that I could count on to hide me in their attic or basement when the click of boot heels gets too loud. No need to call the suicide hotline, sugar, although I appreciate your concern. I’m actually a happy person, existential dread aside. I have no personal regrets or bitterness towards anyone in my life. Er, okay there’s the reporter who rolled with me on a story about DEA drug sniffing dogs - l’ll spare you the tl;dr details, but if I had a chance to get even, I’d take it. I never got stuck in a job I hated or a bad relationship or bogged down by debt or disappointments. I took calculated risks. I did it my way. Overall, I would say I’m happier than most people.
