Soros's father was a resourceful lawyer who falsified the family's identities. During the war, George was sent to live with some government minister, friend of the family who posed as his godfather. He hid behind a false identity and made sure to never pee in public so he wouldn't be outed, however, he was never a member of the Hitler Youth. I'm not denying your argument - that Jewish kids joined the Hitler Youth as a survival strategy. I'm just saying that Soros was never a member of the Hitler Youth.

Interestingly, Soros's mother was drawn to Christianity and converted to Catholicism. He described her as a typical Jewish anti-Semite.
