“They believe that any Republican in their class would be a white supremacist passing information on to far-right militant groups. They believe that enforcing immigration law is the same as a Nazi concentration camps rounding up Jews.”

You’ve got it all wrong. We believe that a large chunk of Trump supporters are typical, average Americans who attend church on Sunday, bake cookies for neighbors, serve their country and love a parade — much in the same way as the good people of Germany were average folk who took the word of a charlatan as he rose to power. We aren’t snowflakes because we disagree with your opinion. Your opinion isn’t the issue — it’s your values and what your leader represents, especially to those of us who have witnessed the devastation caused by authoritarian ideology. The Nazis passed a series of laws over a period of more than a decade that was a process of normalization, which inevitably led to the extermination of more than 6 million people. So when you drive around with your Trump bumper sticker, you might as well just slap a swastika along side it, whether you are a white supremacist or an enabler. That road will lead to Auschwitz , whether you care to admit it or not.

Photography, you have always been a jealous bride. I will always love you — I’m just no longer in love.
