They covered their faces because unlike the January 6 mob, they’re not idiots. Does this mean they’re not facing consequences? As you said yourself, thousands have been arrested and well, I can’t quote numbers but many are facing expulsion. In case you haven’t been following the trend in policing and technology, there’s this thing called facial recognition and AI so when are precious democracy transitions to an authoritarian state, all those faces will be in a database that can and will be used against them, even if all they did was participate peacefully as is their constitutional right. As I said, unlike the January 6 rioters, they’re not stupid. And your lovers of the Rule of Law would release those rioters, portraying them as patriots and heroes while bringing in the National Guard to arrest, tear gas and shoot unarmed protesters.
