Uhm — crucifixion was a widely used form of punishment that predated the Romans. People have endured that and a whole lot worse. If a historical Jesus did in fact exist, he would have died on the cross just like anyone else. Jesus as a religion wasn’t invented until many years after he allegedly died. The myth of Jesus being the son of god is just an early example of fake news.
